This school year our 4-year old children have dealt with a project for the continents. They traveled all over the world, they learned the continents (very useful were the relevant colors of Montessori) and then learned more details about each continent. They met some of the most famous monuments, the animals living on each continent, as well as the culture, eating habits, music and dances of the people of each continent.
This project was completed with a multicultural dance performance in our schoolyard. The children dressed in different costumes traveled us to Europe, Asia and Africa. In the end, we enjoyed traditional dishes from the three continents. It was a beautiful night that will be unforgettable!
